Draw on the match, switch on the tactics

Arrows, areas, player links and spotlights that stay on the grass when the camera moves, and tactical layers in real metres: team shape, the defensive line, pitch control, passing lanes and a heat map.

Drawing

Drawings that stay on the grass

Draw an arrow into space and it stays on that patch of grass while the camera pans. Attach a spotlight to a player and it follows him. Where the camera is locked to the painted lines, drawings lie in the turf like a broadcast graphic, with text on the grass.

  • Arrows, areas, player links, spotlights, text and freehand
  • 3D passes and a measuring tape in metres
  • A name tag with number and name on a linked player
  • Styles per tool: width, dashes, fills, how long a drawing stays
  • Saved with the match for the whole staff, with undo and redo

Tactical layers

The shape of the game, in metres

Switch on layers over the video and the radar from one bar under the picture. They are worked out from where every player stands, in real metres, at every moment.

  • Each team's shape, width and depth
  • The defensive line and the gap to it
  • Pitch control and passing lanes
  • The ball carrier, and a heat map from kick-off to now
  • Presets: Clean, Broadcast, Tactical, Analyst

3D

Every tool on the 3D pitch too

Turn the match into a 3D pitch and keep drawing: a click on the virtual grass lands on the same spot of the real pitch, so it is the same drawing in the same place. The layers move with you.

  • Watch the shape from above, behind the line or from the touchline
  • Drawings made in 3D show on the video, and the other way round

01Limits

What it does not do

  • No formations or pressing scores

Video alone cannot measure these well enough yet, so they are not offered.

  • Players are not cut out

Drawings sit under the graphics, not behind each player's body.

  • Layers follow the tracking

A layer is as good as the positions under it: about one to two metres.
