Who we are
The company runs this service. For your account (your name, email and sign-in) we decide how data is used. For the match footage and the player data that comes from it, your club decides: the club is the controller and we process the footage on its behalf, under its instructions.
What we process
| Data | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Account: name, email, roles, a salted hash of your password | To let you sign in and to show you the tools for your role | Until the account is removed |
| Match videos your club uploads | To analyse the match | Until your club deletes the match or asks us to |
| Data made from the video: positions, speeds, distances, touches, clips, reports | The analysis your club asked for | With the match |
| Player names and shirt numbers from your team sheet | To put names on players | With the match |
| Server logs: IP address, time, the page or file requested | Security and fixing faults | Rotated by size, normally weeks |
| Error reports from the app: what failed and where, with names, emails, cookies and IP addresses removed | Fixing faults | 90 days |
| Backups of the above | Recovery after a fault | The newest 14 nightly copies on the server, and an encrypted copy elsewhere whose history is kept for 30 days |
| Billing, once your club pays for a plan: the organisation's name, address and VAT number, invoices and payment status (card details are handled by Stripe; we never see the card number) | To charge for the plan and keep the accounts tax law requires | As long as tax law requires (in Japan, seven years) |
Players are recognised by their shirt numbers and your team sheet. We do not recognise anyone by face or build. We never sell data, never use it for advertising, and never train our models on your footage.
Who else handles it
These companies process data for us, only to run the service:
| Company | What for | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Hetzner Online | The servers your club's account runs on | EU (Germany or Finland) |
| RunPod | Graphics processors that detect players in the video and read shirt numbers | EU data centre |
| Anthropic | Writing the match report and answering questions about it from the match data; reading shirt numbers on small player pictures | United States |
| Cloudflare | This website, domain name service, encrypted backups, and storage of finished match videos where your club has it switched on | Global network |
| Sentry | Error reports from the app, with personal data removed before they are sent | EU |
| Stripe | Card payments, invoices and the billing portal, once your club pays for a plan | Japan, the EU and the United States |
| Google Fonts | A typeface on some report pages; your browser asks Google for it, so Google sees your IP address | Global network |
Where data leaves the EU or UK, it is protected by the providers' standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete data about you. For match footage and player data, ask your club first: it controls that data and we act on its instructions. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
Youth and academy footage shows children. The club is responsible for having the consent it needs before filming and uploading, and can ask us to delete any match at any time.
Changes
If this notice changes in a way that matters, we tell account holders before the change takes effect.
